Abstract: PURPOSE: A twisted phase retarding film, an optical sheet having the same, and a liquid crystal display device having the same are provided to simply a production process and reduce production cost by including a twisted phase retardation film. CONSTITUTION: A reflection type polarizing plate(110) is formed as a laminate of the colesteric liquid crystal film. A colour compensating film(120) is arranged on a reflective type polarizing plate, and compensates the phase refractive index and the extraordinary refractive index of the reflective type polarizing plate. A twisted phase retardation film(130) is arranged on the one side of the reflective type polarizing plate. The circular polarization is changed into the linear polarization. A linear polarized light plate(140) transmits among the light polarized the various only the linear polarization.
