Abstract: 본 발명은 WUSB 시스템의 QoS 성능 향상을 위한 릴레이 통신 방법에 대하여 개시한다. 본 발명의 일면에 따른 WUSB(Wireless USB) 호스트 및 목적지 디바이스 간의 QoS(Quality of Service) 성능 향상을 위한 릴레이 통신 방법은, WUSB 클러스터 내 상기 호스트와 상기 호스트와 상기 목적지 디바이스와 다른 복수의 디바이스 간 및 상기 복수의 디바이스와 목적지 디바이스 간 채널의 SoQ(Satisfaction of QoS) 중계값을 확인하는 단계; 상기 복수의 디바이스 중에서, 상기 SoQ 중계값이 가장 큰 디바이스를 선별하고, 선별된 상기 디바이스의 SoQ 중계값이 상기 호스트와 상기 목적지 디바이스 간의 직접 경로의 SoQ 값보다 큰지를 확인하는 단계; 상기 선별된 디바이스의 SoQ 중계값이 상기 직접 경로의 SoQ 값보다 크면, 상기 선별된 디바이스를 릴레이 디바이스로 결정하는 단계; 및 상기 호스트에서 상기 릴레이 디바이스를 거쳐 상기 목적지 디바이스로 데이터 프레임을 송신하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: Disclosed is a relay transmission method for quality enhancement of service (QoS) in a wireless USB (WUSB) system. A relay transmission method for improving QoS between a WUSB host and a destination device includes the steps of: checking satisfaction of QoS (SoQ) relay values of a channel between the host and multiple devices different from the host and the destination device, and between the multiple devices and the destination device; selecting a device having the highest SoQ relay value among the multiple devices, and checking whether the SoQ relay value of the selected device is greater than a SoQ value of a direct route between the host and the destination device; deciding the selected device as a relay device when the SoQ value of the selected device is greater than the SoQ value of the direct route; and transmitting a data frame from the host to the destination device through the relay device.
