Abstract: PURPOSE: An Enteromorpha prolifera extract having anti-diabetes is provided to prevent and treat diabetes without side effects. CONSTITUTION: An Enteromorpha prolifera extract contains an active ingredient for anti-diabete. A method for preparing Enteromorpha prolifera comprises: a step of dissolving Enteromorpha prolifera powder in distilled water and placing in dry oven at 60°C for 24 hours; a step of centrifuging at 3000rpm for 10 minutes and separating supernatant; a step of putting the supernatant in a bottle and shaking the bottle in water bath at 70~80°C; and a step of freezing at -71°C for 24 hours.
