Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for selectively separating hafnium from zirconium in a sulfuric-acid solution containing hafnium and zirconium. The separating method according to the present invention selectively separates hafnium, in the sulfuric-acid solution where hafnium and zirconium are dissolved, using an organic solution containing an organic phosphorus acid-based extraction agent.
