Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric generator and a method for operating the same are provided to increase output energy by using a flywheel. CONSTITUTION: An electric generator includes a motor(10) for receiving power from a battery 14 through a transformer(15). The motor(10) is connected to both a flywheel(11) and a DC generator(12) by a belt. The motor(10) and the DC generator(12) are connected by a belt to an AC generator(13) operated by an output plug(9). The transformer(15) converts a direct current of the DC generator(12) into an alternating current. The transformer(15) is connected to the DC generator(12) and the motor(10) by a wire. The AC generator(13) supplies AC power to the battery(14) to recharge the battery(14). A controller having a voltage system, a current system, a lamp, an overload lamp, and a voltage regulator is provided to control the motor(12), the AC generator(12) and the DC generator(13).
