Abstract: PURPOSE: A low pass filter is provided to achieve improved cutoff characteristics by transforming and coupling two stubs, and widen a stop band by forming a slot on a ground surface. CONSTITUTION: A low pass filter(30) comprises open stubs(31,31') connected in parallel with each other; both ends(34a,34'a); and a center slot(34b) for interconnecting the both ends. The open stubs have stub ends(31a,31'a) with rectangular shapes; and transformation portions(31b,31'b) spaced apart from a transmission line(32) for connecting the stubs, and formed into trapezoidal shapes from top and bottom ends of the transformed stub ends, wherein the transformation portions are arranged symmetrically with each other with a predetermined gap therebetween. The ends(34a,34'a) are etched on the stub ground surface such that the ends include the stub ends(31a,31'a) but do not include feeder lines(33,33').
