Abstract: PURPOSE: An obesity suppressing composition which contains an extract of Theae folium and Oenothera odorata Jacq. and effectively inhibits a fatty acid synthase(FAS) gene mutation is provided. The prepared composition is harmless to a human body and can be effectively used in treatment and prevention of various diseases related with obesity. CONSTITUTION: The obesity suppressing composition contains 2 to 3g of Theae folium and 5 to 6g of Oenothera odorata Jacq. in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 2, on a dry basis. For an example, 2g of Theae folium is extracted in 100ml distilled water for 10min, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. And 5g of Oenothera odorata Jacq. is refluxed in 100ml distilled water at 25deg.C for 2hr, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure.

Abstract translation: 目的：一种抑制肥胖症的组合物，含有芍药叶提取物， 并有效抑制脂肪酸合酶（FAS）基因突变。 制备的组合物对人体无害，可有效用于治疗和预防与肥胖有关的各种疾病。 构成：肥胖抑制组合物含有2〜3g的禾本科叶和5〜6g的欧烯酮。 重量比为1：1至2。 例如，将2g的ae叶在100ml蒸馏水中提取10分钟，过滤并减压浓缩。 和5g Oenothera odorata Jacq。 在25℃下在100ml蒸馏水中回流2小时，过滤并减压浓缩。

Abstract: 본 발명은 지방산 합성효소(Fatty Acid Synthase;이하 "FAS"라 칭함)의 활성을 억제할 수 있는 비만 억제용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 녹차로부터 얻어진 추출물과 달맞이꽃 종자로부터 얻어진 추출물의 혼합물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 조성물을 이용하여 지방산의 합성에 관여하는 FAS의 활성을 저해시킴으로써, 비만이 발생되는 것을 억제할 수 있는 비만 억제용 조성물에 관한 것이다.
이와 같은 본 발명의 녹차 추출물 및 달맞이꽃 종자 추출물로 이루어진 조성물은 FAS의 활성을 억제하는데 매우 높은 효과를 가지고 있으며, 본 발명에서 사용하는 녹차 및 달맞이꽃 종자 추출물은 인체에 무해한 천연 약재로, 부작용이 전혀 없이 비만과 관련된 각종 질환의 치료 및 예방에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
