Abstract: PURPOSE: A keyboard apparatus for multi-characters and a visual display switching method thereof are provided to rapidly and conveniently input multiple language characters by forming an electronic paper panel at an upper surface of the keys on a keyboard and displaying the character values corresponding to a relevant country on the electronic paper. CONSTITUTION: A storage block(106) stores a character value for each of plural languages. If a terminal is connected to an Internet site, a language recognition block recognizes the language of the Internet site. A control block(104) extracts the character value for a key corresponding to the recognized language, and generates a character switch driving signals to change the character display of a character input key corresponding to the each character value. Plural electronic paper panels(112) are formed on the upper surface of the character input key, and displays the recognized language character by responding to the character switch driving signals.
