    Abstract: PURPOSE: A microorganism producing enzyme decomposing polysaccharide forming plant cell wall is provided to decompose carboxylmethylcellulose as well as chitin, starch, and xylan. CONSTITUTION: A Klebsiella sp. microorganism expresses an enzyme decomposing polysaccharide of plant cell wall. The enzyme is carboxylmethylcellulase(CMCase) and consist of amino acid sequence of sequence number 6. The CMCase has 37,666 Da molecular weight and consists of 1,002 nucleotides encoding 333 amino acids. The Klebsiella sp. microorganism is Klebsiella sp. Sc(deposit number: KACC 91407P) The Klebsiella sp. microorganism is isolated from soil.
