Abstract: PURPOSE: A dual coil type linear variable differential transformer is provided to realize linearization of two S-shaped output curves having different points of inflection by forming a linear variable differential transformer with a dual coil structure. CONSTITUTION: A dual coil type linear variable differential transformer includes a former for winding a coil, a core(30) for sensing mechanical displacement, a support bar(40) for supporting the core, and the coil for converting the mechanical displacement to an electric signal. The primary coil(110) is wound around the former. Four secondary coils(120) are symmetrically formed at both ends of the primary coil. Each interval between the primary coils and the secondary coils is differently determined.
