Abstract: PURPOSE: A refrigerant-cycling device and a compressor used for the refrigerant-cycling device are provided to prevent damages due to a liquid compression in the compressor without disposing a receiver tank. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant-cycling device comprises an electric motor element(14), first and second rotary compression elements(32,34) in a sealed container(12). The first and the second rotary compression elements are driven by the electric motor element. The refrigerant compressed and discharged by the first rotary compression element is compressed by sucking the refrigerant into the second rotary compression element, and is discharged to a gas cooler(154). The refrigerant-cycling device comprises an intermediate cooling circuit(150) for radiating heat of the refrigerant discharged from the first rotary compression element by using the gas cooler; a first internal heat exchanger(160), for exchanging heat between the refrigerant coming out of the gas cooler from the second rotary compression element and the refrigerant coming out of an evaporator(157); and a second internal heat exchanger(162), for exchanging heat between the refrigerant coming out of the gas cooler from the intermediate cooling circuit and the refrigerant coming out of the first internal heat exchanger from the evaporator.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A refrigerant cycle device is provided to improve the coefficient of performance during cooling operation while suppressing a temperature rise in a hermetic container by using an intermediate cooling circuit for permitting heat radiation of a refrigerant discharged from a first rotating compression element during cooling operation. CONSTITUTION: A compressor(10) has first and second rotating compression elements(32,34) in a hermetic container(12). An intermediate cooling circuit(150) introduces a refrigerant compressed by the first rotating compression element into the second rotating compression element, and radiates heat of the refrigerant discharged from the first rotating compression element. A three-way valve(162) opens a flow path in the intermediate cooling circuit during cooling operation.
