Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a multi-layer ceramic electronic component is provided to improve work efficiency in a cutting preparation process by using materials, used in stacking and pressing processes, continuously in a cutting process. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive tape is fixed to a lower plate, with an adhesive layer facing upward. A ceramic sheet is laminated on the adhesive tape(S1). The adhesive tape and ceramic sheet laminate is separated from the lower plate and pressed at fixed temperature and pressure(S2). The adhesive tape and ceramic sheet laminate is cut(S3). The ceramic chip with the adhesive tape is heated so that a foaming agent in the adhesive layer of the adhesive tape is heated and carbon dioxide escapes from the core of the foaming agent. The ceramic chip is easily separated from the adhesive tape.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic electronic component and the multilayer ceramic electronic component manufactured by the same. The method for manufacturing the multilayer ceramic electronic component according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of preparing a plurality of ceramic green sheets with a first lateral surface, a second lateral surface, a first cross section, and a second cross section, wherein the first lateral surface faces the second lateral surface and the first cross section faces the second cross section; printing a first internal electrode pattern and a second internal electrode pattern which are withdrawn to the first cross section or the second cross section and have concave sides in the directions of the first lateral surface and the second lateral surface on the ceramic green sheet; and preparing a ceramic body by laminating and compressing the ceramic green sheets printed with the first and second internal electrode patterns.
