    Abstract: PURPOSE: A rotary encoder and a control method thereof are provided to improve the reliability on the angle detection of multiple encoders. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a rotary encoder is as follows. Each predicted angle and real angle of multiple rotation angle detection members are obtained(302, 304). It determines the first rotation angle detection member that a predicted angle and a real angle are different. It determines the second rotation angle detection member having the real angle which is most similar as the predicted angle of the first rotation angle detection member. A count value of the second rotation angle detection member is reset as a new count value of the first rotation angle detection member(306). The first rotation angle detection member is recognized through the reset count value of the first rotation angle detection member.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An origin recognition apparatus and a method of rotator are provided to accurately find the origin of a rotator without an optical composition including an optical sensor and to find the origin without error due to a malfunction or an external noise. CONSTITUTION: An origin recognition apparatus and a method of a rotator comprises a rotator(100), a tray(120A) which includes a supporting surface(122) in which the rotator is settled, a rotation body aligning unit which restricts the location of the rotator and can be settled on the supporting surface when the rotator is arranged to the pre set location, a motor(140) which comprises a motor shaft and a turn-table(145), and an encoder(150) which creates the signal to measure the rotation angle and rotational direction of the motor shaft while being associated with the motor shaft. The turn-table is fixed on the motor shaft and rotates the rotator by combining with the rotator. Then the output signal of the encoder is Z shape, the turn-table combines with the rotator so that the rotator can revolve. The turn-table is divided in the rotator so that the rotator can stop rotating and be settled on the supporting surface.
