Abstract: A Hangul input processing method using a touch screen and a Hangul inputting apparatus are provided to simplify and layer the arrangement of consonant keys in a virtual keyboard type, and design the arrangement of vowel keys in the heaven(.), earth(eu) and man(i) type so as to be suitable for the touch screen. A sensor(110) senses an input on a touch screen(150), and then outputs information about a selected key on a vowel key display unit(120). If the sensor detects the first input for selecting one of consonant keys displayed on the touch screen, a vowel key display unit outputs an instruction, which commands to display vowel keys including the heaven(.), earth(eu) and man(i) keys around the selected consonant key, on the touch screen. If the sensor detects the second input for selecting one of vowel keys, a decision unit(130) determines the consonant for the first input as the initial sound and the vowel for the second input as the medial of a Korean orthographic syllable, and then outputs the determined character.

Abstract: An electronic device and the method for operating the same are provided to preview the content and menu example, etc in advance by one operation. The contact perception module senses the contact(S210). The process module receives the information about the contact from the contact perception module and resets the timer. The process module produces the coordinate for the location of the contact(S220). The display module indicates a portion of the picture layer determined on the process module in the screen(S230). The contact perception module notifies change of the contact to the process module. The process module determines the change of the contact(S240).
