Abstract: PURPOSE: An orthogonal amplitude modulation symbol mapping apparatus and a method thereof are provided to safely provide a large amount of data through a long wired cable. CONSTITUTION: A reference frequency checking unit(110) checks a frequency of a sub-currier in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbol. A data classification unit(120) corresponds to coded data or uncoded data for an error correction to the sub-carrier.
