Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for providing a board game service in a mobile terminal are provided to sense a location of a game piece on a game plate through a mobile terminal, thereby conveniently providing a board game through a game program stored in the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(160) displays a game process state. A detection sensor(140) recognizes a game piece and a game plate on which the game piece moves. The detection sensor senses a location of the moved game piece on the game plate. A memory(150) stores a game program and an algorithm for the board game service. According to the game program stored in the memory, a controller(130) checks a location of the moved game piece by controlling the detection sensor. The controller generates game progress information according to the location of the moved game piece.

Abstract: A game service method for providing an online game by using UCC and a game server therefor are provided to use music data made by a user in a game, thereby lowering sound source costs. A game server receives UCC(User Created Contents) data which combine accompaniment music data with a song that a music user uses(S200). The game server generates note background music data in which action note data corresponding to the accompaniment music data and the UCC data are combined(S210). The game server provides an online music game to the game user using the generated note background music data(S270).
