본 개시는 무선 통신 시스템에서 제어에 대한 부하 분산을 위한 것으로, 기지국의 동작 방법은, 상기 단말의 이동성을 결정하는 과정과, 상기 이동성이 임계치를 초과하면, 상기 단말로 상기 단말의 제어 플랜(control plane)을 다른 기지국과 처리할 것을 지시하는 메시지를 송신하는 과정을 포함한다. 또한, 본 개시는 상술한 실시 예와 다른 실시 예들도 포함한다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A call setup system and method in a packet data communication system is provided so that an SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node) can manage the state information of a GGSN(Gateway GPRS Support Node) having a fault. CONSTITUTION: In response to a specific packet data service request from a mobile terminal(414), an APN(Access Point Name) translation part(406) in an SGSN(400) converts APN information, provided from the mobile terminal, into FQDN(Fully Qualified Domain Name) information corresponding to a packet data server that provides the specific packet data service. Then the APN translation part transfers the FQDN information to a DNS(Domain Name System) server(402) to ask about the IP addresses of GGSNs connected to the packet data server. The DNS server(402), receiving the FQDN information, finds out the IP addresses of the connected GGSNs. If one IP address is found out at least, the DNS server(402) transfers it to the APN translation part(406).
Abstract:
A method and a system for relaying in a mobile communication system are provided to enable a base station or a relaying node to select an optimum relaying path, thereby increasing system capacity and throughput of a mobile terminal. If a signal is directly received from a mobile terminal, quality of a link directly connected with the mobile terminal is measured by using the received signal(S110). If the signal is received via one or more relaying nodes, quality of an entire path where quality of each link is considered is calculated through the signals received via the one or more relaying nodes. The calculated quality of the entire path is compared with the quality of the directly-connected link to set an optimum path(S116).

본 발명은 이동통신 네트워크에서 외부 네트워크를 통해 제공되는 패킷 서비스들의 종류별로 서비스 품질 속성을 지정하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 이동통신 네트워크를 서로 다른 패킷 서비스들을 지원하는 외부 네트워크들로 연결하는 게이트웨이 노드에서는, 상기 게이트웨이와 상기 외부 네트워크들 간에 통신 가능한 최대 용량을 고려하여 상기 패킷 서비스들 각각에 대해 할당 가능한 최대 대역폭을 지정한다. 상기 이동통신 네트워크에 접속하는 이동 단말로부터 상기 패킷 서비스들 중 원하는 패킷 서비스에 대한 정보와 희망 대역폭 값을 포함하는 요청 메시지가 수신되면, 게이트웨이 노드는 상기 원하는 패킷 서비스에 대해 할당된 최대 대역폭이 상기 희망 대역폭보다 작으면 상기 희망 대역폭을 유효 대역폭으로 결정하고, 작지 않으면 상기 희망 대역폭을 유효 대역폭으로 결정한다. 상기 결정된 유효 대역폭에 대한 정보는 응답 메시지에 실려 상기 이동 단말로 회신된다. 각 서비스 유형별로 최대 사용 가능한 대역폭을 설정함으로써 네트워크 설계를 효율화 할 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A wireless link setting method and a mobile communication system performing the same are provided to receive cell performance information and to confirm performance information of a base station. CONSTITUTION: An SRNC(Serving Radio Network Controller)(300) requests a radio link setup for handover to a DRNC(Drift Radio Network Controller)(400). The DRNC confirms whether to fail to allocate resources to a handover base station(420). If the resource allocation fails, the DRNC transmits the radio link setup failure in which the cell performance information of the base station is included to the SRNC(440).
Abstract:
Apparatus and method for establishing call connection state in packet data communication system. The apparatus controls a Service General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) Support Node (SGSN) to avoid establishing a call connection state associated with an erroneous Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN). The SGSN attempts to establish a call connection state with a GGSN connected to the SGSN, and stores the attempt result information in a specific memory. In this case, the memory stores information indicating success or failure of the attempt directed to the specific GGSN, and call setup attempt time information, etc. Thereafter, if a call setup operation associated with the specific GGSN is re-attempted, then information associated with the specific GGSN is read from information pre-stored in the memory. Based on the read information, it is determined whether a call setup operation directed to the specific GGSN is reattempted, or another call setup operation directed to another GGSN is newly attempted.

PURPOSE: A method for selecting a GGSN(Gateway GPRS Support Node) of a SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node) in a GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) is provided to select and connect an optimum GGSN among GGSNs indicated with the same APN(Access Point Name) when an SGSN and the GGSN are connected. CONSTITUTION: IP addresses 1.1.1.1 and 1.1.2.1 of a GGSN1(104-1) and a GGSN2(104-2) are indicated with the same APN 'x'. Upon receiving the APN 'x' from a terminal, an SGSN1(102-1) inquires of its local DNS server(210-1) about it. Then, the local DNS server(210-1) searches the APN 'x' from an IP address list. If the APN 'x' exists on the IP address list, the local DNS server(210-1) transfers the IP address 1.1.1.1 of the GGSN1(104-1) corresponding to the APN 'x' to the SGSN(102-1) Upon receiving the IP address 1.1.1.1, the SGSN1(102-1) is connected to the GGSN1(104-1), thereby selecting the optimum GGSN. If the APN does not exist in the local DNS server(210-2), the local DNS server(210-1) inquires of other DNS server such as a route DNS server(300) about the APN, in order to obtain an IP address.

PURPOSE: A method of push in world wide web browser is provided to realize a push technique with a few communication functions by using the existing web browsers and the communication function of the applet, without installing an additional private push browser. CONSTITUTION: The frame having an applet for performing a push client that is communicating with a push server installed in the server and receiving the notification about the changed contents of the server is loaded from the server. The applet including the contents of the web page served generally is loaded from the server.
