    Abstract: The present invention relates to a washing machine and, more particularly, to a washing machine that includes a washing drum which is capable of improving a washing effect. An aspect of the present invention includes a main body; a water tank that is provided in the main body to store wash water; a washing drum that is rotatably provided inside the water tank to accommodate laundry; a driving device that rotates the washing drum; and one or more patterns that are formed on an inner side surface of the washing drum. The patterns are a plurality of protruding portions that are arranged to protrude to one side of the washing drum and share one point, and the plurality of protruding portions are arranged to have an expanding size away from the one point and have a plurality of through-holes, which are arranged in the vicinity of the respective protruding portions, for drainage. The washing drum of the washing machine according to an embodiment of the present invention can increase a washing force by generating a friction force between laundry and the washing drum by using the patterns having the protruding portions. In addition, the patterns have an uneven structure, and thus can perform a similar function as a lifter and can increase the washing force by using a head. In addition, since the plurality of through-holes are arranged with a constant pattern in the washing drum, a dehydration bottleneck phenomenon, which is caused by the concentration of dehydration with respect to the constant through-holes, can be prevented and a dehydration rate can be increased. In addition, the patterns can increase the rigidity of the washing drum since the protruding portions and a recessed portion are successively formed on a surface of the washing drum.

    Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention is a washing machine which has an improved structure such that a drum can stably rotate without collision with a frame in the process of performing dehydration. The washing machine comprises: a cabinet including an outer frame which forms the appearance of a washing machine, and an inner frame which is connected with the inner surface of the outer frame; and a cylindrical drum which is placed inside the inner frame to be able to rotate. The inner frame includes a flow interrupting unit which interrupts the flow formed in a space between the drum and the inner frame. The flow interrupting unit is installed along the circumference of the inner frame in order to make the interval between the inner surface of the inner frame and the outer circumference inconsistent.
