Abstract: A method and an apparatus for transmitting an e-mail of a scan image are provided to add an HTML to an attachment file during e-mail transmission, thereby enabling a receiver to check all images at once and providing information(for example, various URLs(Uniform Resource Locators)) useful to the receiver through the HTML. Abstract: A method and an apparatus for processing a job in a multi-function peripheral device are provided to omit an unnecessary printing job on the basis of a job registration list set by a user to save a toner, reduce a printing time and block unnecessary data. A multi-function peripheral device(100) connected to a public telephone network and an IP(Internet Protocol) network includes a job registration unit(180) and a job processor(190).
