본 발명은 단말 간 직접 통신을 지원하는 무선 통신 시스템에서 단말의 전력 감소 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 단말 간 직접 통신을 지원하는 무선 통신 시스템에서 단말의 신호 전송 방법은 상대방 단말과 상기 단말 간 직접 통신(Device to Device, D2D 통신)을 수행하는 도중 슬립 모드로 진입하는 단계, 상기 상대방 단말로 전송할 데이터가 발생한 경우, 상기 상대방 단말에 대한 페이징 신호를 상기 단말과 연결 중인 기지국에게 전송하여, 상기 상대방 단말로 상기 페이징 신호를 전송하여 줄 것을 요청하는 단계, 및 상기 기지국을 통하여 상기 페이징 신호를 전달받은 상기 상대방 단말과 상기 D2D 통신을 재개하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

PURPOSE: A data transception apparatus and a method thereof which supports an MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) are provided to reduce power consumption of a terminal and to supply smooth connection. Abstract:
PURPOSE: A group paging method in a wireless communications system capable of reducing LAN(Local Area Network) overload caused by simultaneous connections of multiple terminals and an apparatus thereof, and an RA(Random Access) method using the group paging method and an apparatus thereof are provided for terminals to divide a PF(Paging Frame) based on at least one of the number of terminals belonging to a base station and available capacity of the base station, thereby efficiently implementing RA. CONSTITUTION: A receiver receives a group paging message from a base station through a PF(Paging Frame). In case a received group paging message belongs to a group paging message matching with identification of the group, a control unit determines if the control unit implements RA(Random Access) in response to the current group paging based on a probability value. The probability value indicates permission probability of the connection to the base station. The probability value is calculated based on at least one of the number of terminals belonging to the base station and available capacity of the base station.

The present invention is for minimizing performance degradation caused by a difference between transmission power for device-to-base station (D2B) communications and transmission power for device-to-device (D2D) communications. An operation method of a terminal includes transmitting a signal for D2B communications to a base station and a signal for D2D communications to an opponent terminal during a first time period.
