Abstract: PURPOSE: A disc clamping device and an optical disc drive including the same are provided to securely clamp a disc mounted on a turn table using centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the turn table. CONSTITUTION: A disc clamping device of an optical disc drive is installed at a boss(330) with a predetermined height inserted into a center hole(H) of a disc(D) to clamp the disc mounted on a turn table(120). The disc clamping device includes a clamper(340) and a spring(350). The clamper clamps the disc in such a manner that one end of the clamper is connected with the boss by a hinge and the other end is rotated by centrifugal force generated from the rotation of the turn table. The spring is combined with the other end of the clamper to elastically bias the other end of the clamper to be placed inside the boss.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A disc drive employing a dust collector is provided to absorb horizontal and vertical vibration caused by the eccentric mass and bending of a disc, by using a plurality of dust collectors, thereby realizing the stable recording and playing performance. CONSTITUTION: A disc drive employing a dust collector includes a housing mounted with a frame(120), and buffering elements formed of rubber material having elasticity and mounted to three coupling parts for preventing the vibration of the frame from being transmitted to the housing. The frame is mounted with dust collectors(180) for absorbing the vibration caused by the rotation of a disc(D). Each of the dust collectors includes a mass(181) positioned to a penetration part(121) of the frame, and three coil springs(182) connecting the mass to the frame. As the coil springs repeat the compression and extension in the horizontal and vertical directions, the mass vibrates horizontally and vertically with respect to the frame, thereby absorbing the vibration of the frame.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A pedestal of a diffusion pump in a semiconductor diffusion equipment is to easily separate a diffusion pump of a diffusion equipment from the diffusion equipment and thereby enhance the efficiency for the maintenance and repair. CONSTITUTION: A diffusion equipment comprises a diffusion pump(14) and a pedestal for mounting the diffusion pump.
