Abstract: PURPOSE: An image processing method and a device thereof are provided to improve data processing speed of a RIP(Raster Image Processing) module. CONSTITUTION: A PDL(Page Description Language) parser unit(310) interprets PDL data received from a host. The PDL parser unit generates a RGB color signal. An image converting unit(320) converts the RGB color signal generated from the PDL parser unit into CMYK color component. The image converting unit performs parallel image conversion processing about the CMYK color component. A rendering unit(330) generates a printing data by a page unit according to the generated RGB color signal and the processed CMYK color component.
