Abstract: A method for interfacing a user in a mobile terminal having a touch screen is provided to enable a user to input information or a command in detail by touching the touch screen with a finger instead of a stylus pen. An input symbol is displayed to a position separated from a touch position at a predetermined interval when a touch occurs in a touch screen. A moving path of the input symbol is displayed in a line by tracing a moving direction of the touch when the touch is moved(213). The input symbol is a metaphor representing attribute of the line. A function assigned to an area including the input symbol is executed or a character assigned to the area including the input symbol is displayed when the touch is released. The input symbol is the pointer for pointing the position of a selected function, and a cursor for pointing the position of a selected character, or a character inputting or correcting position.

Abstract: A device and a method for providing contents are provided to enable a user to receive desired information without viewing the unwanted information such as AD(ADvertisement) by displaying only the desired information to a separate widget among different information displayed in a webpage. An input part(140) inputs position information of the webpage. A communicator(110) receives the contents corresponding to the position information from a CP(Content Provider). A webpage analyzer(130) converts each element including the position information into an object by analyzing the received contents information.
