Abstract: 본 발명은 세탁기에 관한 것으로, 이러한 본 발명의 목적은 동일한 세제투입공간에 사용자의 선택에 따라 분말세제와 액체세제를 선택적으로 투입하여 사용할 수 있도록 함은 물론, 세제투입공간 내에서의 세제의 유동을 조절하여 세제와 세탁수가 잘 섞이도록 마련된 세제공급장치를 갖춘 세탁기를 제공하는 것이다.

Abstract: A drum-type washing machine is provided to prevent the laundry from being damaged by no interference between a joint unit and the laundry and to prevent lint from being accumulated in a drum while washing the laundry. A drum-type washing machine comprises a housing, a drum(20), and a joint unit(26). The drum is rotationally installed in the housing, and contains an exposure preventing structure for preventing the joint unit formed in manufacturing process from being not exposed to the inner surface of the drum. The exposure preventing structure has the joint unit and at least one lifter(24). The joint unit is formed on the inner surface of the drum. The lifter is installed to cover the joint unit and has an escape groove formed on the lower surface contacted with the inner surface of the drum, correspondingly to the shape of the joint unit. The joint unit is finally treated with a sealing material to prevent lint from being inserted.
