Abstract: Provided are a method and a mobile terminal for switching calls quickly and easily without operating manual to resolve the problems mentioned above. A call switching method according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of receiving, by the mobile terminal, a call request message from a network while conducting a call with a first counterpart terminal; notifying a user of the reception of the call request message; determining whether the mobile terminal is moved from one ear to the other ear; and connecting a call to a second counterpart terminal corresponding to the call request message if the mobile terminal is moved from one ear to the other ear.
