Abstract: The present invention proposes a method for easily setting permissions for a mobile terminal when a user unlocks the mobile terminal (i.e., when the user is logged in to the mobile terminal), and a mobile terminal realizing the method. A login management method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: determining the position of a mobile terminal when a locking image is displayed on a screen; detecting unlocking information; comparing the detected unlocking information with pre-stored unlocking information; determining an operating mode of the mobile terminal as one corresponding to the determined position among a plurality of preset operating modes when the two unlocking information match each other; and displaying an image related to the determined operating mode.
