Abstract: A signal transmitting/receiving device and a signal transmitting/receiving method in a communication system are provided to increase efficiency in transmitting/receiving a signal of the communication system using a non-binary LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) code. A method for transmitting a signal in a signal transmission device of a communication system includes the steps for receiving an information vector; generating a non-binary LDPC codeword by encoding the information vector in an LDPC encoding method; and transmitting the generated non-binary LDPC codeword. The LDPC encoding method generates the non-binary LDPC codeword by encoding the information vector correspondently to a parity check matrix. The parity check matrix includes an information part corresponding to the information vector, a first parity part corresponding to a first parity vector, and a second parity part corresponding to a second parity vector. The information part and the first and second parity parts include plural part blocks. Each part block include plural sub matrixes.
