Abstract: PURPOSE: A display device and a control method thereof are provided to display an interesting image with only a simple stimulation of a user. CONSTITUTION: A display device comprises a display panel, a sensor(200), and a controller(300). The display panel includes a light-emitting element. The sensor senses the current which flows in the light-emitting element. The controller determines that an external stimulus is applied to the display panel in case the change of sensed current deviates from a preset current variation.
