Abstract: PURPOSE: A broadband digital control oscillator and a digital broadcasting receiver including the same are provided to connect a plurality of capacitor with one inductor in parallel and selectively on/off the capacitor according to a second digital control signal, thereby operating frequency is variable. CONSTITUTION: A dynamic device unit(110) is driven by a first digital control signal. One inductor(120) is connected to the active element part in parallel. The inductor has a fixed inductance. A plurality of capacitor units(130) are connected to one inductor in parallel. An operating frequency is variable by selective on/off of a plurality of capacitor according to a second digital control signal.

Abstract: A receiver for radio signals in a low frequency band and a radio signal processing method thereof are provided to simplify the structure of the receiver as a mixer, a VCO(Voltage Control Oscillator), and a PLL(Phase Locked Loop) are not used in receiving and processing services, such as T-DMB(Terrestrial-Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) or DVB-T(Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial), provided in the low frequency band, thereby easily designing the receiver and producing the receiver. An amplifier(10) applies a predetermined gain to an input radio signal to amplify the input radio signal. An ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)(20) digitizes the radio signal in a state that the frequency band of the radio signal is held. A DSP(Digital Signal Processor)(30) has a filter(25) which filters the digitized radio signal and outputs signals only in a desired frequency band, and processes the radio signal to be in a state that the radio signal can be outputted.
