Abstract: PURPOSE: A mobile terminal supplying a handover service and a network device using an application layer protocol are provided to transmit and receive a message including handover information without generating new protocol by using the application layer protocol. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(110) supplying a handover service includes a transmitting unit and a receiving unit. The transmitting unit transmits a require-message about handover information to a network device(120). A receiver receives a response message including the handover information from the network device. The require-message and the response message are transmitted and received by the application layer protocol. The transmission unit repetitively transmits a require-message. The receiver receives the response message corresponding to the transmitted require-message.
