Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a file and a terminal for performing the same are provided to rearrange only the transmitting order of an internal box of a moving picture file to transmit the moving picture file to a receiving terminal, thereby simultaneously playing the moving picture file while receiving the moving picture file. CONSTITUTION: A controller checks the format of a moving picture file to be transmitted(420). If the format of the checked moving picture file is an ISO base media file format, the controller checks the location order of a moov box among boxes configuring the moving picture file. The moov box is not located in front of an mdat box. The controller rearranges the box configuring the moving picture file(450,460).

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for providing a live-bell alarm in a digital broadcasting receiving terminal are provided to offer an alarm to a user without the stop of a process currently progressed by a digital multimedia signal processing unit although the digital multimedia signal processing unit is being used when the output of a live-bell required for being processed in the digital multimedia signal processing unit is set up by the user. A memory unit(102) stores at least one or more midi-bell data for outputting a midi-bell and at least one or more live-bell data for outputting a live-bell required for being processed in a digital multimedia signal processing unit(124). A vibrator(118) generates vibration. A ringer(116) decodes and outputs the midi-bell data. When the digital multimedia signal processing unit(124) is being used, a control unit(100) checks a bell alarm condition and checks a kind of a currently set bell according to whether the bell alarm condition is satisfied. When the checked kind of the bell is the live-bell, the control unit(100) provides an alarm to a user by using one of the vibration using the vibrator(118) and the output of the midi-bell through the ringer(116).
