    Abstract: PURPOSE: A camcorder capable of being combined with multiple sound capturing devices is provided to combine external sound capturing devices with a camcorder to capture sound signals. CONSTITUTION: A camcorder includes a sound capturing device(100) and a main body(200). The sound capturing device has a plurality of sound capturing units having different direction. The main body outputs a control signal for variably controlling the level of a sound signal captured by each of the sound capturing units to the sound capturing device. The main body receives the sound signal whose level has been controlled by the control signal from the sound capturing device. The sound capturing device is detachably combined with the main body.
