Abstract: A hermetic compressor is provided to improve the operation of lubrication between an eccentric shaft part and a connecting rod via oil by installing a blocking member at the eccentric shaft part. A hermetic compressor comprises a driving unit, a piston, a rotational shaft(40), and an oil passage. The rotational shaft includes an eccentric shaft part(41) connected to the piston with a connecting rod(23), a weight balance part(42) for compensating the rotation imbalance due to the eccentric shaft part. The oil passage consists of an upper oil hole for scattering oil to the upper part of the eccentric shaft part, and an auxiliary oil hole(54). The auxiliary oil hole supplies portions of oil sucked to the upper part along the upper oil hole to the eccentric shaft part and the connecting rod. A blocking member(70), which is selectively assembled with a weight balance member(80), closes an upper end of the upper oil hole. The blocking member also includes a fastening part(71) having an external thread at the outer periphery. An internal thread is formed at the inner periphery of the upper oil hole to form a fastening hole(53a) for fastening with the fastening part.
