Abstract: A cyclone air purifier which can increase the air purification efficiency even without using a second cyclone that generates pressure loss and noise, and can purify a large amount of air at a time by increasing the amount of air flown into a body is provided. A cyclone air purifier comprises: a cylindrical body(10); an inflow port(11) which is formed on a side face of the body, and in which a plurality of guide vanes(12) are installed to generate centrifugal force in air flown in; an outflow pipe(15) for flowing out air from which dust is separated after air containing dust is flown in through the inflow port; and an ionization device(40) for ionizing dust contained in the air that is flown in through the inflow port. The ionization device comprises a high voltage electrode part(41) to which a high voltage is applied, and a grounding electrode part(42) spaced from the high voltage electrode part in a predetermined distance. The cyclone air purifier further comprises: a cyclone(13) formed in the body to form a rotation space(16a) which is formed between the cyclone and the outflow pipe, and in which the air flown in through the inflow port is rotated, wherein the cyclone includes a cylindrical part(13a) and a conical part(13b); a dust collecting drum(30) installed below the body; and dust scattering prevention units(33) installed in the dust collecting drum.

Abstract: An air conditioner is provided to carry out air cleaning independently from air conditioning through a suction hole for air cleaning to achieve an air cleaning capacity improved up to a level of an air conditioning capacity, thereby increasing an air cleaning area. An air conditioner includes suction holes(20) formed at both sides of a cabinet(5) for cooling/heating, through which air inhaled by a blower fan passes, and mounted with opening/closing doors. An air cleaning filter(30) is mounted in the cabinet. A suction hole(17) for air cleaning is additionally formed at a lower part of a front surface of the cabinet to pass air inhaled by the blower fan in an air cleaning filter direction, and mounted with an opening/closing door(16). A filter guide element(31) is mounted at a rear part of the suction hole for air cleaning and detachably attached with the air cleaning filter. The door for the suction hole for air cleaning slides to open or close the suction hole for air cleaning by a carrier unit(29) mounted to the cabinet. The carrier unit has a rack(26) attached to the door, a pinion(27) mounted to the casing correspondingly to the rack, and a second opening/closing motor(28) connected to the pinion.
