Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for synchronizing personal information between a terminal and a server is provided to easily synchronize personal information stored in a portable terminal with that stored in a server. CONSTITUTION: In case that a modification in personal information stored in a terminal is generated(S20), a control part in the terminal converts the modified personal information into synchronization data(S30) and sends the converted data to a base station through a base station interface part(S40). As a mobile service provider receives a short message associated with the modified personal information and provides it to a wireless Internet gateway server, a PIMS(Personal Information Management System) server receives the short message through an Internet interface part(S50). The PIMS server analyzes the synchronization data and extracts the contents of modified personal information(S60). Based on the extracted personal information, a control part in the PIMS server updates personal information stored in a personal information storage part(S70).

In the case that log data are received again from the user terminal having CRM data previously, the CRM data creation and updating unit updates the CRM data using the log data(340). A CRM data transmission unit transmits CRM data stored in the data memory to the user terminal through a communication network for storing the created CRM data to the user terminal.

Log data including Internet address information associated with a user's terminal is received from the user's terminal via a communication network.
