Abstract: 복수의 현상기를 구비한 화상형성장치가 개시된다. 화상형성장치는 복수의 현상기 각각의 토너 잔량을 확인하여, 각 현상기의 인쇄 가능 여부를 판단하는 판단부 및 판단부의 판단 결과에 따라 복수의 현상기 중 인쇄 가능한 현상기를 이용하여 자동 색상 정합을 수행하는 인쇄 엔진부를 포함한다. 이에 따라, 복수의 현상기들 중에서 적어도 어느 하나의 현상기를 제외하고 인쇄 및 자동 색상 정합을 가능하게 하여 인쇄 및 자동 색상 정합의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 또한 사용자의 편의를 향상시킬 수 있다.

Abstract: 본 발명은 화상형성장치 및 화상형성장치의 자동색상정렬방법에 관한 것이다. 화상형성장치의 자동색상정렬방법은, 이송벨트에 복수의 색상에 대응하는 복수의 선 측정마크를 형성하는 단계; 색상정렬기준을 이용하여 상기 복수의 색상 중 적어도 하나를 배제한 나머지 색상에 대하여 제1 후 측정마크를 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 형성된 제1 후 측정마크에 기초하여 자동색상정렬을 수행하는 단계를 포함한다. 이에 의하여, 복수의 색상 중 적어도 하나를 배제한 나머지 색상에 대하여만 자동색상정렬을 수행하여 불필요한 현상제가 소모되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.

Abstract: An image-forming apparatus and a method for controlling an auto color registration work are provided to determine a case requiring the auto color registration work accurately, thereby preventing the auto color registration work from being performed unnecessarily. A sensor(120) detects preliminary test patterns by colors on a conveying belt. A color alignment correction unit(130) checks over the present alignment state of respective colors by using data detected according to the colors by the sensor, and determines whether to perform a work for correcting relative registration positions of the respective colors based on the checked result. If the work is performed, a control unit(140) forms actual test patterns on the conveying belt and controls the sensor and the color registration correction unit to re-detect the data by the colors.

Abstract: An image forming device and a method thereof are provided to print and match colors automatically without at least one of developers, thereby improving the printing and the automatic color matching. A color which is not used is selected during print(S810). It is determined whether to satisfy a condition in which it is accessed to an automatic color matching state(S815). In a plurality of developers, it is determined whether each developer is installed and whether remaining toner of each developer is left(S820). It is determined whether a toner amount of at least one of the developers is smaller than a threshold value, and at least one of the developers is separated(S825). When the toner amount of at least one of the developers is smaller than the threshold value, and at least one of the developers is separated, automatic color matching is performed by using the other developers except for the developers whose remaining toner is insufficient or which are separated(S830). When printing is required, a print job is performed by only a printable developer among the plurality of developers(S840,S850).
