Abstract: A method and an apparatus for reducing channel state update speed in a communication system are provided to reduce the speed of requested SVD calculations, minimize mathematical complexity and overheads, and alleviate fast fading by presenting the phase manipulation of eigen vectors, the ordering of eigen modes, and the adjustment of pre-decomposition data. A system confirms whether a request to combine physical channels which are being used between a terminal and a base station is generated(600). If so, the system applies a selected combining scheme to the physical channels and combines them(602). Then the system confirms whether a request to manipulate physical channel data is made(604). If so, the system confirms whether vector swapping is detected(606). If so, the system whether the state of the physical channel data requires the reordering of eigen vector(608). If so, the system executes SVD(Singular Value Decomposition) for a channel matrix "H" the physical channel data designate(610). Then the system judges whether a phase inversion removal request for the phases of the eigen vectors is made(614). If so, the system detects an eigen vector having an inversed phase among the eigen vectors and removes the inversed phase of the detected eigen vector(616).

Abstract: 본 발명은, 통신시스템에서 채널 업데이트 속도 감소 방법 및 장치를 개시한다. 본 발명의 방법은, 물리 채널들의 채널 상태를 나타내는 채널 매트릭스(H)를 획득하여 상기 채널 매트릭스에 대해 SVD 계산을 수행하여 상기 채널 매트릭스의 아이겐 벡터들을 출력하는 과정과, 상기 아이겐 벡터들 중 적어도 하나에 위상 반전이 존재할 경우 해당 아이겐 벡터로부터 상기 위상 반전을 제거하는 과정을 포함하여, 통신시스템에서 데이터 송수신 상태에서 직교 채널의 채널 데이터 업데이트 속도를 줄인다. 또한 본 발명은 SVD의 사용에 의해서 분해되는 파일럿 샘플들 사이의 아이겐 공간을 추적하기 위한 채널 매트릭스의 조정과, 아이겐 모드들의 오더링 및 선분해 데이터의 조정 등을 제안한다.
