    Abstract: In one embodiment, a wearable computing device includes one or more sensors, at least one processor, and a memory connected to the processor. The memory includes instruction which can be executed by the processor. When the instructions are executed, the wearable computing device worn by a user detects a gesture-recognition-activation event relevant to the wearable computing device by the one or more sensors of the wearable computing device; detects the motion of the user′s body by the one or more sensors of the wearable computing device worn by the user; determines the gesture performed by the user based on at least a part of the motion; and processes the gesture as the input of the wearable computing device.
