Abstract: Provided are a method for transmitting content between portable electronic devices and a device thereof. Disclosed is the method for transmitting a content file comprising: a step for receiving a set of information related to the content file using near field communications from a portable electronic device; a step for receiving the content file using a second communications channel from the portable electronic device; and a step for transmitting the information related to the received content file and the content file to a second communications device using a first communications channel.
