Abstract: An image forming method and an image forming device are provided to maintain a quality of an image by informing a user if the image apparatus does not satisfy the standards for performing direct printing. A receiver(10) directly receives a print command about a document. An image forming unit(20) performs an image forming about a document. A control unit(30) determines whether more than one printing standard for direct printing by the image forming unit is satisfied. In case the direct printing standard is not satisfied, the control unit indicates a possibility of the direct printing of a document. The control unit confirms the preparation of an interpreter or a filter or a font resource in the image forming device, and confirms document versions. In case, the interpreter or the filter or the font resource is not prepared in the image forming device, the control unit download the not prepared item from outside.

Abstract: An image forming device supporting secured printing and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to securely perform the printing by generating a random access code and responding to the authorized user with the random access code whenever the authorized user requests the printing data stored in the image forming device used by many users.
