Abstract: PURPOSE: A high speed optical shutter using electro optic effect, an operating method thereof, and an apparatus including the same are provided to process an image in high speed. CONSTITUTION: An incident light path changing unit(68) is formed on a light incidence plane of a first substrate(62). The incident light path changing unit changes the path of an incident light(68L), and irradiates the parallel light to an incident surface of a first substrate. The light which enters a first prism array(60) is turned into the parallel light.
