Abstract: PURPOSE: A laundry handling apparatus is provided to offer a hinge assembly installed at both sides of a rear surface of a door, thereby enabling the change of an opening/closing direction of the door in a convenient manner. CONSTITUTION: A laundry handling apparatus comprises a door(20) having one end which is rotatably installed at a body while rotating in left and right directions to open or close an inlet of the body; and a hinge assembly(30) for the door to be rotatably installed at the body. The door is provided with two hinge installation parts(20a) at both sides of the rear surface, respectively, for installation of the hinge assembly. The hinge assembly is installed at one of the two hinge installation parts while an installation cover part(40) configured to cover the hinge installation part is installed at the other one of the two hinge installation parts. The hinge installation part is formed in a shape of a groove by cutting a portion of both sides of the door rear surface frame(22). By reversing the hinge installation part, at which the hinge assembly is installed, and the hinge installation part, at which the installation part cover is installed, the opening/closing direction of the door is reversely changed. The hinge assembly includes a hinge member(31) installed at a front surface of the body; and hinge brackets(32, 33) installed to the door to have the hinge member rotatably coupled thereto so that the door is rotatably installed at the body.

Abstract: A dryer of the present invention comprises a drying container arranged inside a cabinet to store laundry, and receiving the rotatory power from a driving source and rotated; and multiple lifters equipped in the inner periphery of the drying container and moving the laundry in the drying container, wherein the multiple lifter comprises at least one guide rib protruded in a tapered shape to pass through the drying container to combine at least one combining boss part and the lifters with the drying container. Through such composition, the cohesive power can be enhanced when assembling the lifter with the drying container, and the vibration during the rotation of the drying container is prevented and the water leakage can be prevented.
