Abstract: 본 발명은 액정 표시 장치 제조용 핫 플레이트에 관한 것으로, 대면적 패널 전체를 균일하게 지지하기 위하여, 핫 플레이트에 설치되는 프록시미티 핀이 패널의 표시 영역도 접촉하여 지지할 수 있도록 그의 재질과 구조를 개선한다. 본 발명에 따른 액정 표시 장치 제조용 핫 플레이트에서는, 소정 부분에 홀이 있는 플레이트가 있고, 제1 직경을 가지는 몸통부 및 원뿔형의 헤드부를 가지고, 기판을 지지하는 프록시미티 핀이 플레이트의 홀에 설치된다. 여기서, 프록시미티 핀은 열전도가 낮은 물질로 형성되는 것이 바람직한데, 피크 또는 테프론으로 형성될 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A hot plate for fabricating an LCD device is provided to improve a structure and a material of a proximity pin installed on a plate, to contact a display area of a panel, so as to uniformly support the entire panel. CONSTITUTION: A plate(21) has a hole(25). A body and a cone-shaped head are mounted on the hole(25). A proximity pin(22) supports a substrate. The proximity pin(22) is composed of a body and a head. The body has the first diameter. The head is connected to an upper end of the body. A cylinder guide having the second diameter smaller than the first diameter is connected to a lower end of the body. The head has a bigger diameter than the first diameter. A diameter of a lower head gets bigger as the lower head is far away from the body. A cone-shaped upper head is connected to the lower head and has a smaller diameter than the lower head. As the upper head is far away from the lower head, a diameter of the upper head gets smaller.
