Abstract: A transmission power control method in a wireless private network and an apparatus for adapting the same are provided to maintain the wireless communication state and to reduce the output maximally, thereby minimizing power consumption. A process for receiving the data packet from the connected outside wireless device is performed(S502). Thereafter, a process for measuring the reception link quality by means of the received data packet is performed(S503). Thereafter, a process for comparing the reception link quality with the predetermined reference link quality is performed(S505). According to the comparison result, a process for regulating the output power is performed. The reception link quality is calculated from the received data packet by means of the measured ACV(Average Correlation Value). At the regulation process of the output, when the calculation value is larger than that of the previously defined limited value, the transmission output is reduced(S507). When the calculation value is smaller than that of the previously defined limited value, the transmission output is increased(S508).
