PURPOSE: A system and method for reducing an encryption overhead by combining a plurality of connection packets related to a security association are provided to minimize the encryption time of data payloads by encrypting the same security association related data payloads. CONSTITUTION: One or more security associations identified with data payloads are detected in response to the reception of the data payloads from a plurality of source connections(410). Each data payload corresponds to one or more data packets from each source connection. The data payloads identified with each security association is concatenated(415). The concatenated data payloads for each security association is encrypted(420).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and a method for reducing the size of an encoding overhead are provided to reduce the size of the encoding overhead using ROC and PDU_SN instead of PN added at each MPDU(MAC Protocol Data Unit). CONSTITUTION: An MPDU encoding device of a wireless access system includes a transmission data processor(610) and a message generator(612). The transmission data processor generates an uncoded MPDU. A message generator confirms a sequence number for counting the number of the MPDU transmitted in the generation of the uncoded MPDU. The message generator increase a roll over count value for counting a roll over. The message generator generates the encode information using the roll over count value and the sequence number.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for managing pay load information within a medium access control protocol data unit are provided to encode the information related to a plurality of connections by using a multiplexing technology. CONSTITUTION: The connection payload information of a first connection payload among a plurality of connection payloads are encoded at a first header of a MAC PDU(Medium Access Control Protocol Data Unit)(402). At a second header of the MAC PDU, the connection payload information of a set of second connection payloads among the connection payloads is encoded.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for generating data for controlling an error in a wireless communication system are provided to reduce a wasted resource according to the size of MPDU(MAC Protocol Data Unit) in a physical layer by adding the MSDU(MAC Service Data Unit) information to the MPDU. CONSTITUTION: A MAC layer reconstructs at least one MAC layer service data unit received from an upper layer according to the scheduling information of the MAC layer. The MAC layer generates a data part of at least one MAC layer protocol data unit. The control information includes the information of at least one MSDU comprising the data part of the MPDU. An MPDU payload is generated by adding the control information to the data part of the MPDU. A common MAC header including the connection identifier information and the length information of the MPDU payload is added to each MPDU payload. An FPI(Fragmentation and Packing Indicator) includes information about a fixed field(300) and a variable field(310). The fixed field includes a sequence number, a FC field, and a LAST field. The variable field includes an LEN field and the LAST field.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method of ARQ(Automatic Retransmission Request) feedback for error control in wireless communication system are provided to accurately process a shift of a transmit window of a transmitting end by reducing a loss of an ARQ feedback information. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting end(100) transmits an ARQ block with a reception end(110). The reception end transmits the ARQ feedback information to the transmitting end according to the reception status of the ARQ block. The transmitting end expects the ARQ feedback performance action of the reception end whenever it transmits the ARQ block. The reception end transmits the ARQ feedback information from the first successfully received ARQ block to the tenth ARQ block with the transmitting end. The reception end implements the ARQ feedback process.
