    Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical pickup device is provided to effectively restrict heat transfer to an objective lens and quickly discharge heat generated from an operating coil without adding operating devices for cooling such as a heat discharging fan or motor. CONSTITUTION: A blade(30) is equipped with the objective lens(33). A wire(34) elastically and floatingly supports the blade against a holder(35) installed to a base(36). The operating coil(39) forms an electric path for focusing operation of the objective lens and displacing operation of a tracking direction by installing to the blade. A magnet(37) generates electromagnetic force displacing the objective lens together with current flowing in the operating coil by installing to the base. The blade includes the first blade(31) equipped with the objective lens and the second blade(32) equipped with the operating coil. A heat transfer coefficient of the first blade is relatively lower than the second blade. The first blade is formed by reinforced plastics and the second blade is formed by magnesium alloy.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical pickup device is provided to insert another frame into a base chassis when molding the base chassis, and to integratedly mold various springs for fixing optical elements on the frame, thereby reinforcing strength of the base chassis and simplifying an assembling process. CONSTITUTION: A frame member(213) is inserted into a base chassis(210). The frame member(213) molds a thin plate so as to have a shape of the base chassis(210) and locates the molded plate inside the base chassis(210). Spring members(214) for fixing optical elements disposed on the base chassis(210) are integratedly molded with the frame member(213). When the frame member(213) is located within a mold core of the base chassis(210), the spring members(214) are exposed outside the mold core of the base chassis(210). By injecting a plastic melting material into the mold core, the base chassis(210) is injection-molded.
