본발명은무선통신시스템의기지국에서상향링크열잡음전력및 상향링크간섭전력을측정하기위한장치및 방법에관한것으로서, 시스템관리부로부터제공받은묵음구간설정정보를이용하여자원을할당하지않는묵음구간을설정하는과정과, 상기묵음구간이도래하는경우, 수신전계강도(RSSI: Received Signal Strength Indication)를측정하는과정과, 상기측정한수신전계강도를상향링크열잡음전력으로설정하는과정을포함하여 RoT(Rise over Thermal)와 IoT(Interference over Thermal)를산출할수 있고, 주파수의불법사용여부를확인할수 있는이점이있다.

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for avoiding downlink interference from a base station in a mobile communication system is provided to conveniently improve communication performance in the mobile communication system using a software work and without adding hardware. CONSTITUTION: When Interference in a first three symbols of a control area is bigger than a specific threshold value, an interference target base station is operated in a TTG(Transmit/receive Transition Gap) mode(620,630).The interference target base station measures the interference of an interference base station in the first three symbols of a pseudo control area during measurement interval(645). The first three symbols of the pseudo control area is smaller than the specific threshold value, the interference target base station is successively operated in the TTG mode(650,640).

본 발명은 광대역 무선통신 시스템에 관한 것으로, 기지국은, 단말로부터 수신된 버스트에 에러가 발생하면, 상기 단말의 셋 포인트(Set Point)를 증가시키는 관리부와, 상기 에러 발생 시, 상기 단말의 최대 송신 전력 및 상기 버스트 송신시 단말이 사용한 송신 전력 간 차이값이 소정 차이 임계값보다 작으면, 상기 단말의 카운트 변수를 증가시키는 감지부와, 상기 단말의 카운트 변수가 소정 카운트 임계값보다 크면, 상기 단말에게 할당되는 슬롯 수가 감소되도록 제어하는 결정부를 포함하여, 일반적인 전력 제어로 해결되지 않는 예외 상황들을 감지하여 상향링크 전송 형식을 결정함으로써, 잘못된 상향링크 전송 형식으로 인한 버스트 에러 발생을 감소시키고, 불필요한 대역폭의 낭비를 방지할 수 있다. 상향링크 전송 형식(Uplink Transmission Format), 전력 제어(Power Control), 셋 포인트(Set Point), MCS(Modulation and Coding Scheme) 레벨
Abstract:
A device for processing bandwidth request in a wireless communication system and a method thereof are provided to transmit packets which were not transmitted owing to a map receiving error and scanning, thereby reducing a packet loss rate, consequently latency can be decreased while more VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) calls are receivable. A bandwidth request message is received from a terminal(401). Demanded polling size is extracted from the bandwidth request message(403). If the demanded polling size is larger than maximum polling size, the demanded polling size is divided into in-band polling size and out-of-band polling size to perform a resource scheduling process(407-415). When the resource scheduling process is performed, it is checked whether surplus resources exist after the resource scheduling process is performed for the in-band polling size(413). If so, the resource scheduling process for the out-of-band polling size is performed(415).
Abstract:
An uplink scheduling device in a broadband wireless communication system and a method therefore are provided to prevent the same resources from being allotted to terminals having bad channel states, thereby reducing an amount of interference exerted on other cells or sectors. A priority determiner(500) arranges CSM(Collaborative Spatial Multiplexing) terminals according to priorities. A resource allocator(506) sequentially selects the terminals according to the priorities, decides on a section to which channel information of the selected terminals belongs, and allocates resources of a pilot pattern corresponding to the decided section to the terminals. The channel information refers to a CQI(Channel Quality Indicator).

Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for uplink scheduling in a broadband wireless communication system are provided to prevent the occurrence of an uplink burst error by enabling the transmission power of a terminal to be proximate to the maximum transmission power. CONSTITUTION: A calculation unit(118) predicts the entire transmission power of a terminal. If the entire transmission power is equal to or larger than a reference value, a margin determiner(110) adjusts transmission power margin for a setup period to be larger than a default value. A wireless resource determination unit(114) determines the number of slots allocated to the terminal by using the determined transmission power margin. A management unit(116) updates a parameter based on the uplink transmission power information by checking whether or not an error exists in an uplink burst.
