Abstract: PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a method thereof are provided to add a content to other contents provided in a multi view mode, thereby providing various kinds of contents as well as another content for a plurality of users through one display apparatus. Abstract: A display device and a control method therefor are provided. The control method for a display device according to the present invention is as follows: a first image is displayed on a display screen; when a menu generation command for changing image settings is inputted, a menu including at least one item for changing image settings is generated and displayed on the display screen; and when one of the at least one item included in the menu is selected, a plurality of images, which are generated by applying different image settings to the first image, are displayed on a plurality of areas on the display screen. According to the present invention, a user is enabled to intuitively acknowledge a change in the display screen due to image setting changes.
