Abstract: The present invention relates to an audio system, an audio device and a channel mapping method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an audio device includes an interface unit configured to receive a plurality of test tone signals for each of a plurality of sound output devices for outputting multi-channel voice signals, a channel determination unit configured to analyze the received test tone signals to determine the locations of the sound output devices, a switching unit configured to output a test tone to each of the sound output devices, and to map a path where the multi-channel voice signals are outputted depending on a determination result, and an output unit randomly connected to the sound output devices, and configured to control a random connection according to path mapping to output the multi-channel voice signals.
