Abstract: A terminal and a multimedia file reproduction method thereof are provided to change field information of multimedia files, so that the multimedia files can be controlled and reproduced in desired volume. A controller recognizes an idle mode of a terminal(S201). The controller confirms whether a multimedia file reproduction mode is selected(S203). If so, the controller selects a particular multimedia file(S205). The controller drives a reader to read a field of the selected file, and controls volume of a speaker(S207). The controller reproduces the file in the controlled volume(S209). The controller confirms whether the corresponding file is completely reproduced(S211). If so, the controller confirms whether the multimedia file reproduction mode is completed, and terminates the corresponding function(S213).
